AudioFlicker

AudioFlicker produces a flicker based on "hum" of the blade, the more differentiation between the colors the more intense the flicker will appear. Using a Primary base color for Color A and a brighter RGB version for Color B will produce a brightening effect, using a darker color will produce a dimming effect. This is the effect most often associated with traditional lightsaber blades.

Blinking

Blinking alternates between Color A and Color B at a set interval without a transition. The Blinking value 500 produces equal time for both colors, 0 ~ 499 will spend more time on Color B (off), 501 ~ 1000 will spend more time on Color A (on).

BrownNoiseFlicker

BrownNoiseFlicker produces a static-like flicker between the two colors, the higher the Grade the more static is produced. This is helpful in creating unstable blade effects as well as for producing lockups and drags.

ColorCycle (press "Power" for preview)

ColorCycle is triggered by blade "on" and will transition from Color A to Color B based on Rotation Speed of Color B and Time to Transition. When blade is turned "off" it will cycle backwards from Color B to Color A based on Rotation Speed of Color A. The transition also changes from Percentage of Blade Lit for Color A to Color B so setting different percentages can create a "Tron" effect.

Cylon

Cylon produces a sliding "beam" effect up and down the blade, only the percentage of the blade (Beam Size) is visible, the rest of the blade is Black. You can set two "states" an off and on to have the effect behave separately when blade is of or on. When nesting this effect it will block out the underlying effects in the "black" area as it moves.

Gradient

Gradient evenly distributes multiple colors or effects in segments up the blade with a gradual blend between each. Gradient can be used to have multiple sections of a single blade appear as different colors or effects, with Color A appearing at the bottom of the blade near the hilt and working up. A minimum of 2 colors are needed.

Number of Segments:

HumpFlicker

HumpFlicker produces a hump or wave effect of Color A over Color B, smaller Hump Width shows more of Color B, with small waves of Color A, larger shows less of Color B with larger waves of Color A, recommended range is 10 ~ 150, larger than 150 and Color B is hidden.

Pulsing

Pulsing transitions between Color A and Color B with a fade-in, fade-out appearance. The Pulse Time defines how long the transition takes. Pulsing can be used to nest two or more other effects to produce a transition from effects back and forth.

RandomFlicker

RandomFlicker is similar to AudioFlicker but rather than being based on a "hum" it is a random flicker between Color A and Color B. The more differentiation between the colors the more intense the flicker will appear. Using a Primary base color for Color A and a brighter RGB version for Color B will produce a brightening effect, using a darker color will produce a dimming effect. This can be used in place of AudioFlicker to mimic the traditional lightsaber blade effect.

RandomPerLEDFlicker

RandomPerLEDFlicker is a randomized static-like flicker between Color A and Color B, each pixel will flicker randomly creating a static/unstable appearance. RandomPerLEDFlicker works well for unstable blade effects, lockups and drags.

Sparkle

Sparkle produces random sparks of Color B over the main blade Color A. This is often used for a rain-blade or sparking effect.

Strobe

Strobe produces a strobe-light effect for the entire blade, Color A is the "off" color and the Frequency sets how often Color B flashes on for the Strobe Length.

StyleFire (press "Power" for preview)

StyleFire is a flame blade, creating a flame like effect emitting from the bottom of the blade up. This style will only run when blade is ignited (there are separate controls "FireConfig" if you want it to appear when Off but those must be set in Style Editor). Color A is the primary color of the flame, with Color B appearing as "bursts" that run up the length sporadically. Recommended range for Delay is 0 ~ 5 and Speed is 1 ~ 8. StyleFire can be nested with other effects to produce unique flame blades. StyleFire does contain default clash and lockup effects, these can also be set or zeroed out in Style Editor like the Off color.
